POSITION TITLE: Manager- Operations & Marketing, Contract
BACKGROUND
Rainbow’s End is a non-profit organization that identifies opportunities and develops small businesses which will in turn employ persons with the lived experience of mental illness and/or addiction.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Board of Directors of RECDC, the Manager – Operations & Marketing is responsible for the leadership and growth of the organization. This will be accomplished through the ongoing development of business opportunities. The continuous growth of our client and customer base will provide meaningful employment for members of the community who are marginalized due to mental illness and/or addiction. It requires a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leader that is passionate about developing, growing and sustaining the growth of our organization.
QUALIFICATIONS / KEY ATTRIBUTES:
- Post-secondary education in area(s) pertaining to business management or Marketing
- Evidence of successful & sustained business development (minimum 3 years)
- Willingness to get in the trenches and lead by example
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically
- Clear understanding of and passion for delivering outstanding customer-focused service
- Financial acumen as it pertains to costing, pricing and generating profit
- Proficient use of technology –Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
- Demonstrated leadership in human resource management
- Excellent team player
- Is just as comfortable at a work site, in an office or in a clients office
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment
- Familiarity with mental illness and/or addiction
- Ability to travel locally with access to transportation.
- Valid driver’s license
